Barry Branch is a Managing Partner of SSG Realty Partners and a Robert H. Ledbetter, Sr. Professor of the Practice of Real Estate Development at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business. Barry began his career in 1971 when he was hired to lead the formation of John Portman’s original real estate development company, Portman Properties. Since then, Barry has financed, developed, marketed and managed $12 B+ of domestic and international real estate across a 45+ year career, serving 18 years on the Board of Directors for two publicly traded REITS (Duke Realty Corporation and Weeks Corporation).
